Living life like a high kick delivered straight to my face gonna feel it tomorrow like I feel it today. Then I go to my breathing zone where oxygen flows from mounds of dirty clothes. Can’t sit to move can’t stand to go Going off of the rails. Pushing into a tailspin. Coming out of the lot. Dropped right into the pot Living life like a highball dropped in one shot In the back of the head in the back of a parking lot Trying times are never going to justify violent crimes it’s just a sign that the new breeds dying
2.
Chemicals in the drinking water but I drink up anyway Fixate on images of slaughter like it's just another day Was there a time when this all had meaning? Keep inhaling as the gas keeps leaking Nothing new on the internet but I check it constantly Better luck staring the sun at least there's uncertainty Was there a time when this all had meaning? Keep inhaling as the gas keeps leaking No one's left for the intervening Brace for impact as we reach the ceiling

they greet you with closed fists and wild eyes they want to command and control you without you they'll have no direction the way home is all points around you one for the heart and one for the road take it or leave it you're out on your own ambition overt and distasteful comes crashing to a woeful conclusion with missteps and harsh demonstrations happening all inside your head one for the heart and one for the road take it or leave it you're out on your own get with the program the program is over
4.
Slipped through the cracks Force-fed facades remain intact A turtle on its back Proved just a snake waiting to attack Walked so far, but couldn't wait Had to crawl through your mistakes On and on, out of the way Came this far, but there's no lake Chalk something up Until the rain reveals disgust When something so abrupt Throws a wrench in the plan and it runs amuck Walked so far, but couldn't wait Had to crawl through your mistakes On and on, out of the way Came this far, but there's no lake In hindsight, we'll think of all the things we overlooked
5.
a part of conscious effort is all that it takes to drive the miles through Pine Cliff Lake steady hands in the front seat make it seem quite at home travelling for hours common grade speed the only truth i rely on is human extinction crafted on the way to a long awaited break (incomprehensible) distractions to a short lived invention keep your lines on low until you take it through limited stability on a hot wire fence you skate through the movement to a wild pile mess the only truth i rely on is human extinction crafted on the way to a long awaited break (incomprehensible) distractions to a short lived invention keep your lines on low until you take it

you can only eat a cup of food per day and I wonder if you’ll cry all night when I go away fixing like delinquents fishing butts out the bowl burying embarrassment without a funeral. If you look around, you might find yourself in strange houses. passing out on the cut down couch there’s no fun in sitting on the sill with no window to look out. fishing in my wishing well is punishable, so forfeit all your permits now before you get cemented in the hole. and you’re too far gone when the weekend comes and you’re trying to get loud, but you’re so burnt out

about

Glazer loaded up the tape machine, rented a cabin in the woods of a distant land, and tracked night and day over a long weekend. The result: the new six song ‘Civilian Whiplash’ EP. Recorded straight to cassette, the tape embodies the familiar frenetic and lo-fi sounds that have defined Glazer over the years. A more collaborative effort than those of the past, each member contributed songs, additional instrumentation, and vocals to give ‘Civilian Whiplash’ its rightful place in the band’s mounting eclectic catalog.
